God’s Plan of Salvation

God’s Plan of Salvation

This is the first sermon that was preached to men in the Bible on salvation,                              by Peter, who Jesus had given the Keys of salvation to.

Act2:37    Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38   Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39   For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40   And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41   Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42   And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

  1. The Spirit of God must convict your heart and draw you to him, this is godly sorrow of the sins you have committed.
  2. Then you must repent, asking God to forgive you of your sins, this is a total commitment of turning your life over to him.
  3. Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remissions of your sins.
  4. And receive Holy Spirit of God into your soul, this is when you are born again into the Spirit of God.

The Plan of Salvation is simple, a child can understand it, the traditions of men is what is hard to overcome.

Study these scriptures before you reject God’s plan for you.

Matthew 7:13   Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14   Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15   Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16   Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Ephesians 4:4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5  One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Read, study and pray, you only have one life to live! If you miss being saved there is no second chance.
